1. Introduction

Welcome to Intima ("we," "our," or "us"). Intima is a private health intelligence platform — a period, mood, sleep, wellness, and doctor-booking tracker. The app is anonymous by default and requires no account or login.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. By using Intima, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Our Privacy Commitment

• Anonymous by default: no email, phone, or name required to use the app
• Your data, your control: export or delete your data anytime
• No sale of data: we never sell your personal information
• No advertising: no third-party ads, no ad-tracking SDKs

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

• Profile data: age, gender preference (for personalization)
• Health & wellness logs: mood, sleep, energy, period tracking
• AI chat messages: conversations with the AI wellness coach
• Care booking details: if you book an appointment, your name, email, and phone number — so a real doctor's office can contact you

3.2 Automatically generated / optional

• Anonymous ID: a locally-generated identifier, no personal details linked
• Location (optional): only in the Care tab, to sort nearby doctors on a map — used live, not stored
• Camera / photos (optional): attaching a photo to an AI chat message
• Camera + microphone (optional): only if you start a live video consultation call with a doctor

Outside of Care's booking flow, we do not collect your name, email, or phone number.

4. How Data Is Stored

• Core tracking data (mood, cycle, sleep logs) is stored primarily on your device.
• Optional encrypted cloud backup: a unique 8-character code restores your data on any device — no account needed.
• Care bookings, doctor listings, and reviews are stored on our servers, since they involve coordinating with a real third party (the doctor).
• Partner Mode data is shared only with the specific person you link with, and only for the categories you explicitly enable.

5. AI Chat Data Processing

• Your message is sent to a third-party AI provider (Groq) to generate a response
• Messages are not stored permanently on our servers
• Chat history is stored locally on your device
• Never used for advertising, profiling, or model training

6. Care (Doctor Booking) Data Sharing

If you request an appointment, we share your name, contact info, and request with the specific doctor you're booking with — that's the only way a real booking works. We don't share it with anyone else.

7. No Third-Party Advertising or Tracking

Intima does not:

• Display third-party advertisements
• Use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels
• Sell or share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for behavioral advertising

8. Data Security

• Local data is stored in your device's secure storage
• Cloud data (backup, Care bookings) uses encrypted connections (TLS)
• We do not access your data unless you share your backup code with us for support

9. Your Rights

• Export: export your data anytime through the app
• Delete: delete all your data anytime via Settings → Clear All Data
• No account required: clearing local data removes everything from your device

10. Children's Privacy

Intima is not intended for individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact support@intimacare.in immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last updated" date.

• We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns
• Do not rely on this app for emergency or urgent medical situations

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Intima, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

• Wellness tracking: period, mood, sleep, and energy logging
• AI chat: informational conversations, not medical advice
• Health insights: trends and patterns from your logged data
• Optional cloud backup: encrypted, no login required
• Care: find and request an appointment with independently licensed doctors

Intima does not practice medicine or employ these doctors — we facilitate scheduling only. The doctor is solely responsible for the care they provide.

3. App Is Free — No Paid Features Currently Active

Intima and Care are both currently free to use. No payment gateway is active. If paid features are introduced later, we will update these Terms and notify users.

4. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Intima
• If you are under 18, parental or guardian consent is recommended

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when setting up your profile
• Use the app for personal, non-commercial wellness tracking only
• Keep your backup code secure
• Do not use the app as a substitute for professional medical care
• For Care: show up for booked appointments, or cancel in advance

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Share harmful, abusive, or explicit content in AI chat or doctor reviews
• Attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI system
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code
• Use automated systems to access the app without permission

7. Reviews You Post (Care)

Reviews of doctors must be honest and based on a genuine appointment experience. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake, or unrelated to an actual appointment.

8. Intellectual Property

The app and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Intima and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intima is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or device issues
• Any health decisions made based on app content or AI responses
• The care provided by a doctor booked through Care

Intima is provided "as is," for informational and tracking purposes only.

10. Termination & Data Deletion

Since Intima does not require login, there is no traditional account to delete. Clear all data via Settings → Clear All Data, or uninstall the app.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
